Open now for more than 5 years, "Mint" has become something of a local institution with Saturday breakfast drawing a large and eclectic crowd, lunches too see the place fill up as quick and healthy food keeps locals coming back each day. Dinner from Tuesday to Friday (Saturdays from 2009) takes the food up a notch or two and the extensive mezze selections make it easy to customise a culinary tour through the Middle East

Wooden panelling, a clever use of concrete bricks and a massive photographic mural create a calm and intimate environment. There are further changes planned for the early New Year.

Recently licensed there is now a small list of well matched wines to complement the food with everything available by the glass

The simple, tasty food is mainly from the Mod Med repertoire with the strongest influences coming from the southern and eastern shores. The menu includes many of the Fez favourites, which became signature dishes, such as breakfast couscous, the meze and the spicy lamb with hummus. Ras el hanout grilled chicken and the vegetable couscous salad are the popular choices at lunchtime. Dinner specials change regularly and reflect seasonal produce.

Open for breakfast and lunch from Monday to Saturday 7am-5pm (Monday & Saturday 4pm close)

Dinners on Tuesday, Wednesday until 9.30 pm; Thursday and Friday until 10.00pm.

Saturday evenings are reserved for full restaurant hire-out functions.

Closed on Sunday.

Christmas and New Year opening times:

We will be open for breakfast lunch and dinner on 22 & 23 December and closed from 24 to 28 December

For the next two weeks we will open for breakfast and lunch between 8am and 4pm. We will be closed on New Year's Day.

Normal trading hours will resume on Monday 12 January 2009
