This stylish oasis at the far end of Crown Street completes a journey for chef/owner Hugh Foster. His previous establishment, Fez, took the flavours of Cleveland Street to Darlinghurst, and now he returns to the source of his inspiration in a smart, Rob Sample designed space. Wooden panelling, a clever use of concrete bricks and a massive photographic mural create a calm and intimate environment.

The simple, tasty food is mainly from the Mod Med repertoire with the strongest influences coming from the southern and eastern shores. The menu includes many of the Fez favourites, which became signature dishes, such as breakfast couscous, the meze and the spicy lamb with hummus. Dinner specials change regularly and reflect seasonal produce.

Open for breakfast and lunch from Monday to Saturday 7am-5pm (Saturday 4pm close)

Dinners on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday until 9.30 pm, and Friday until 10.00pm.

Saturday evenings are reserved for full restaurant hire-out functions.

Closed on Sunday.
